That's gorgeous. You make it look so easy. I want to get up there and print w/you again.

Thanks Linda! Making the video and making it look easy, is alot harder than gelatin printing itself. Happy art making.

Linda,
Your work and your videos are fantastic and so inspiring! Following a trip to Boston this summer, I did a lot of gelatin printing, using some masks I made from fun foam and stencils I cut from quilting template plastic. I love the idea of how you inked the silhouette and then printed a second color at the same time. I've had a lot of success simply inking the cut-out shape (from the stencil) and then using it as one would a rubber stamp -- just set it where you want it and then press down here and there. Gives a different texture. Here's my blog if you want to see what you've inspired! leslierosenbergart.blogspot.com.

Thanks again! Leslie

Thanks Leslie,
We have so many mark making options - each one with different results. That is one of the things I love about the gelatin printing process. Happy Printing

I see you have found a use for those stacks of unreadable phone directories that are still getting dropped on the front stoop. They work darn good as newsprint pick up!

they are perfect. And yet I noticed some phone books are smaller and not so useful. Am I going to have to start hoarding them? oh dear.
